For everyone wondering where Medha went or what happened to the beloved co-host on the radio show, the answer is Medha suffered from a series of illnesses leading to her absence from the Elvis Duran Show.
Medha was absent from Elvis Durain Show for two weeks in July of 2023. Medha revealed that during her absence from the radio show, she dealt with a series of kidney infections. Medha also revealed that she had to get surgical drainage twice for her kidneys.
Medha had to deal with kidney stones. Along with issues in her kidneys, Medha suffered from appendicitis, pneumonia and dehydration. Due to these health problems, she took a leave from the radio show for two weeks.
Medha explained that the health problems she suffers from are a combination of different issues happening simultaneously in different areas of her body.
Medha opened up that initially she didn’t know what went wrong in her body after she suffered from several health issues. At the same time, Medha said she eventually discovered she had contracted a kidney infection which required to be drained twice to help her feel better.
Medha also needed to get a stent put in her heart to deal with irregular heartbeats. Medha opened up about her issues and stated that she and her doctors are still not sure what is wrong with her and awaiting a diagnosis.
Medha returned to the radio show on Thursday after she spent some time at Hackensack Meridian Hospital. Medha stated that the nurses at the hospital were amazing and they treated her well throughout her stay.
Gandhi still suffers from different illnesses, but the root cause still isn’t clear. It is suspected that Medha Gandhi might have to take a long term leave from the radio show again due to her undiagnosed health issues.
