I need the women to crawl out of Olivia’s a**. Because what the hell? You all can really sit there and listen to Olivia say the things that she says and believe it with your whole chest? Are you serious right now?
Love Island Season 9 Episode 38 starts with Claudia feeling like Casey is basically playing her in terms of whether or not he still has feelings for Lana or not, but she gets over it in like 2 seconds. So while speaking to Claudia, Casey says you’re massively overthinking it, I think that. To this, Claudia says I’m not stupid for thinking that.
Truly, I thought that Lana was the obvious option, and some people on Twitter were saying no, but they talked about Samie being who he would couple up with. I don’t remember that, and I’m not gonna go back to check that, but an educated guess would be Lana. And even if that wasn’t who you guessed, I feel like. After some deductive reasoning, it would make sense to you like, “OK, yeah, that makes sense.”
I don’t know why she really thinks that Casey’s still harboring these feelings for Lana, and if given the opportunity, he’s gonna jump at it. But I think that the ship has sailed, but it is the most logical answer. And the fact that she got over it in like 2.5 seconds and then got mad about something else later, I was just like, “Claudia really pisses me off.” Claudia and Olivia are like neck and neck. Who can piss me off more?
What Happened Last Night On Love Island Season 9 Episode 38?
Kai has been feeling a shift between himself and his female friends in the villa and confides in Sanam, wondering, “Dang, what do I do about it?” While speaking to Sanam, Kai says, “I feel like the dynamics changed. I was alright, friends with Tanya. And I feel like all of a sudden. She’s turned into the biggest hypocrite.” Then to this, Sanam says that whatever the girls say about him, she is not going to change her mind about her.
I love that Sanam, although she hears the foolish things that the women are saying, looks and she’s like, “Nah. I’m gonna stick with my man,” and rightfully so. It’s not like Kai has been giving her the run-around. He has been telling her things straight, and she believes him wholeheartedly.
When it comes to Kai, though, I wish he was more straightforward throughout the season and didn’t walk the line so much. Because I feel like the reason why people were so OK with Kai before was that he was kind of wishy-washy. He would agree with whoever is sitting in front of him and then maybe like call somebody a hypocrite, or he won’t be friends with these people behind their backs.
So now that he’s firmer on his stance about things, it does come across as him being fake. But for us, we’re like, yes, finally, he’s standing for something. Finally, we can really ride for Kai. Do you know what I mean? So I wish he had this demeanor throughout the season so that he wouldn’t be experiencing what he’s experiencing now.
Maxwell, Do You Really Like Olivia?
Olivia is stuck on stupid when it comes to Kai. So while speaking to Ron, Olivia says, “I would rather he puts my name and say: This is why I’ve said I don’t think Liv has genuine.” Then she says, “Kai likes to dish out comments. But he doesn’t like to take them back.”
Olivia is literally the queen of dishing out what she cannot take The fact that she cannot see blows my mind. My, the man Kai does not care about you. He does not want to talk to you. You could leave yesterday, and he would not bat an eye. Kai pulled Olivia that one time after Casa, and she stormed off and made a stink about it. And since then, he’s been like, “OK, cool, I tried. You didn’t care. I’m moving on.”
There’s a moment where Olivia is like, “oh, Kai should have written that I was faking in the challenge because that’s really how he feels. The fact that he didn’t write me as fake means that he’s fake”. Are you not the same woman who gets pissed every time he calls you fake?
So to keep the peace, Kai was like, “I’m not even gonna write back because I don’t want to bring it up anymore.” And now she’s mad that he didn’t call her fake? Again, I look at Maxwell, and I say, Maxwell, Really? You look at Olivia, and you say, “that’s mine.”
Maxwell does come to the realization that holds on she’s long in this. While speaking to Olivia, Maxwell says, “I need to understand what is it you’re trying to get?” Then Olivia says that he doesn’t like confrontation, especially with Kai. For someone who doesn’t like confrontation, she engages in it a lot. And it is tired, it is exhausting, and I just cannot handle it. Eventually, Maxwell and Olivia get over it, allegedly.
The Women Listening To Olivia Are Dumb
Now my bone to pick is with the women. Because Olivia is talking about, you know, why she’s obsessed with Kai, and the women are like, “I get it, girl. I totally understand. I get where you’re coming from”. Jessie says to Olivia that “The way that Kai has treated you, regardless of that, you’ve acted like such a strong woman.”
I’m sorry these women are idiots for enabling this behavior. I just have to stand firm and say that y’all are dumb. If you can sit here and stand 10 toes down with what Olivia has been saying, then you are definitely dumb. I’m convinced somebody’s in their ear. Somebody has been in everybody’s ear about Olivia, whether it’s directly or indirectly. They know something we don’t know.
They have picked up on something that we have not picked up on. Because there’s no way every woman can sit in front of Olivia and justify her delusion. And so Olivia decides, “I’m done. This is the end of it. I’m never gonna talk about him again”, except for when she goes to bed and wakes up and talks about him again in the morning Debrief.
So Olivia was once again running her mouth about Kai. To this, Sanam was like, “I don’t wanna get involved anymore. Like, I just think it’s getting really tiring, and I am being annoyed with both of you. Like you both make each other angry”. Not only are the women enabling Olivia’s behavior, but they are also now saying that Kai is the one holding on. Kai someone holding on? Because he constantly wants to argue with her and be mad?
When has Kai wanted to talk to her outside of the very first conversation post-Casa? When has he pulled Olivia? When has he really brought her up to say like, “oh, I can’t believe she…” like, No. If ever he talks about her, it’s the frustration that she won’t leave him alone like this is harassment.
Honesty, Kai, when you had said earlier that there are people you would never talk to outside of the villa, have the first person be Olivia. I don’t ever want to see them in the same room, them in the same conversations, ever again. I am exhausted. I am tired. And thank God for Sanam. Because Sanam was like, “I’m good, guys, this is odd. Can you let it go?” I really ride for this girl because she is not letting Olivia’s delusion permeate her mind.
The Villa Girls Against Kai
The Love Island producers need a lashing and need flogging. Because why would y’all subject us to a date with Olivia and Maxwell in a tree house as if we care? Now I’m really mad about that. Did y’all take precious Movie Night time to show us a date between Olivia and Maxwell?
Kai is talking to Lana, trying to suss out like, “yo, what’s with the women treating me differently?” So while speaking to Lana, Kai says, “I’ve just shown my own. I’ve hardly spoken to any of the girls. I’ve distanced myself from girls just because I feel like that’s right for Liv. I’m very conscious as well, but it will affect Sanam because she’s the only girl that came in from Casa”.
Not Kai actually being one of the most sensible people in this villa. The turnaround is amazing. This man is so socially aware of the situation that he has put himself in that he doesn’t know himself from the women temporarily to save face for Olivia.
Honestly, because she’d be going through a lot, he didn’t want to be, you know, infiltrating her friendships and stuff like that. And then also to protect Sanam because she’s the only woman coming in from Casa. And also like he wants to nurture that relationship.
The turnaround of Kai is just amazing. And, like, it is annoying that the women are deciding to side with Olivia on the grounds that are just meritless. But whatever, Kai’s already decided that he ain’t gonna rock with a lot of these people after the show. So as long as he and Sanam are going strong, I think he’ll be just fine.
The Movie Night Drama
On to the main event, here we are at Movie Night. The first title goes to the women, and they pick “The Fast and Furious.” And basically, it’s Shaq saying he wanted to dive into Casa, even though we know he didn’t. Him asking Will if he was gonna dive in. And we know that he kind of did. But the focus was on Casey. They showed us all the things that Casey did in the Casa Amor.
The guys were all laughing, seeing themselves going crazy in the Casa Amor. But seeing Casey laugh made the girls angry. And Tanya had the audacity to shout at Casey when she did the same thing in the Casa Amor.
I’m sorry, but the girls being upset that the guys were laughing was really annoying to me because it was funny, and it was hilarious, especially because Casey took Casa as a joke. Like, the man did not care.
And you can see, like, slowly, he’s really getting the ick for Claudia because he’s like, “yo, I told you all of this. The fact that you’re getting mad over something that you’re aware of is weird behavior.” And I would have to agree.
Claudia is really making a mountain out of a molehill. I feel like they’ve ironed this all out. She even talked to Cynthia for crying out loud. She knew about the kiss with Sanam, so why are you upset? But if it gets us this much closer to getting her out of the Vill, then girl pop-off.
Catch Me If You Tan
The next title goes to the guys, and it was “Catch me if you Tan.” In this, we saw Tanya feeding Martin. We saw all the things she said badly about Shaq and all the things she did with Martin. She told that she had a quick kiss with Martin, but we all know that it wasn’t a quick kiss, and Shaq also saw that and was really mad about it.
And then again has the audacity to shout out that she isn’t wrong. I’m sorry, Shaq, but this woman needs to go home as soon as she can because I can’t stand her anymore. Most of Tanya’s time on Casa, she was just talking about how much Shaq annoys her and how much she’s got the ick, and how there are so many red flags and blah blah blah.
So I think that was more so why Shaq was annoyed. He’s making it seem like, “yes, it was a kiss in bed. It was longer than she made it seem,” and whatever. Like, I think it’s more so the fact that she took the time to bad mouth Shaq so much to justify her connection with Martin just to come back talking about “I love you.” At least, I hope that’s how he’s gonna break it down because that would annoy me.
I definitely do think that Tanya undersold her connection with Martin. I can’t really tell if the kiss was long or short, but she definitely was more into it than him going for the kiss for her. Tanya was asking for that kiss with your words like your body was really saying like,
“Martin Come on.” I don’t really have much thought on that. I wanted more juice. I wanted more fire. I wanted more; I wanted more for movie night. Honestly, we might get that tomorrow with Tom and the Will’s and hopefully a little bit of Ron in there.
