Stanley Marsh, aka Stan, is one of the four foul-mouthed boys in South Park. On the other hand, Wendy Testaburger is the main supporting female character in the series. She is known for breaking and patching up repeatedly with her boyfriend, Stan.
Wendy broke up with Stan in South Park Season 7 Episode 14 that got aired on 10 December 2003 on Comedy Central. The episode got written and directed by Trey Parker. Overall, it is the 110th episode of the series.
The writer and the team took more time to create the story. So, it got ready only six days before the episode got aired. Parker and his team considered the song ‘Don’t Know What You Got’ perfect for the breakup. So, they ambitiously got the license for the same. The other songs are based on their memories from elementary school.
The dialog said by Butters at the end of the episode is one of the most heart-touching and sincere lines said by any character in the series. Matt Stone’s kids used to deal with the relationships in elementary school just like Stan did.

Who Is Wendy?
Wendy is Stan’s girlfriend. She appeared in the series for the first through the episode called ‘Cartman Gets An Anal Probe,’ released on 13 August 1997 on the original network, Comedy Central. She is intelligent, an activist, a feminist, and more mature than the other students of her age.
Wendy, also called Wendyl and Call Girl, got created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker. She stays in South Park and studies at South Park Elementary School. Her previous voice artists were Mona Marshall, Eliza Schneider, and Mary Kay Bergman. Wendy’s current voice artist is April Stewart.
For the first 19 seasons, she gets shown only as a fourth grader in Mr. Garrisons’s class, passed out from the third grade due to the series’s timeline. However, she appears as a grown-up lady, married to Darwin, in South Park’s Post-Covid film. She gets divorced from her husband and reunites with Stan.
Wendy Breaks Up With Stan
The episode begins with Stan assigning roles to his friends for playing football. Suddenly, Wendy’s friend comes and informs him that she has broken up. Wendy does not want to be with Stan anymore, but she can still be friends with him.
Stan gets shocked because he did not even talk to Wendy for weeks. It leads him to depression, and the song gets played in the background. After getting a request from Stan, Kyle asks Wendy for a reason for the breakup.
Wendy informs that she finds Stand nice. She only does not want to be with him, and she has been waiting for the breakup for days. She is not against him. Before she could say anything else, Kyle just said “Ok” and left. But, this reason is not enough for Stan.
Further, Stan asks Jimmy to get the reason from Wendy, but she walks away. Later, his friends come to his home to cheer him up, but it is of no use. So, they take him to the local restaurant ‘Raisins,’ full of cute waitresses.
Stan leaves the restaurant with his friends so he does not get distracted by the girls. He does not have time to fall again for another girl. Meanwhile, Butters gets attracted to the waitress named Lexus.
Stan Takes Control
Stan goes to Wendy’s friend’s home and asks her to tell Wendy that he loves her. But she asks Stan to get romantic. Accordingly, he stands before Wendy’s house playing a song and ends up seeing her with another guy.
Stan joins the non-conformist’s group, a group full of depressed kids, by dressing like them. They are darkly creative. Every sentence spoken by them contains violence.
Meanwhile, Butters keeps visiting Raisins to meet Lexus and exhausting his money. He goes to his parents for money for his girlfriend, and they happily lend him money as their son did not turn out to be gay.
Butters takes his parents to Raisins, where they learn that the cute waitresses get friendly with every other customer to create expand the loyal customer base. It is their tactic to get more money, and Butters has fallen into the trap.
Butters realizes the truth and ends up getting depressed like Stan. The non-conformists try to take him into their group, but Butters has already accepted the bad with the good. He has the strength to digest the truth. It awakens Stan, and he leaves the group. The next day, he comes across Wendy, but it does not affect him. Instead, he joins his friends to play football.
