Jeffrey Dahmer curated an extensive strategy to mark his victims as he used to visit gay bars, malls, and bus stops. Once these victims were spotted, the notorious killer used to lure them in with promises of s*x or money.
Jeffrey Dahmer would later provide his victims with alcohol which was reportedly spiked with drugs that would later kill them. Dahmer would later be intimate with these dead bodies and later dismember them, and would also keep body parts, which would include their skulls or genitals, as souvenirs. Dahmer would discard their bones in a 57-gallon drum. One of his 19-year-old victims namely, Errol Lindsey died after Dahmer drilled a hole into his head and later poured hydrochloric acid into it.

Who Played Jeffrey Dahmer In The Netflix Documentary?
Popular actor Evan Peters who is known for his bold choice of roles, has once again gained critical attention for his portrayal of the notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the newly released Netflix Documentary, Dahmer-Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. Evan Peters admitted in an interview that playing Dahmer was the “hardest” thing he had to do in his career.

To prepare for the role, Peters went through numerous biographies and the police report of Dahmer’s confession in 1992 and also listened to the audio of Dahmer speaking to a psychologist/detective. While talking about how difficult the role was, Evan explained how it was so jaw-dropping that it all happened that it felt important to be respectful to the victims, and the victims’ families, to try and tell the story as authentically as they could. The actor further thanked the crew, who, as Evan said, was instrumental in keeping him on the guardrails.
Victims’ Families Opened Up About the Documentary
As the newly released documentary revolving around the notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer is streaming on Netflix, it seems like the victims’ families might have some disagreements with the limited series. Some of these families had claimed that the creators of the show did not ask for permission before they went ahead with the project.
Ole of Dahmer’s victims, Errol Lindsey’s sister, Rita Isbell, has opened up about the documentary as she stated how she had to relive all the emotions she experienced after a video of her court scene was reenacted in the series.
Rita further added that Netflix should give the money they make on the show to the victims’ families as the victims have children and grandchildren, and thus, if the show benefited them in some way, it wouldn’t feel so harsh and careless, as stated by Rita in an essay. Lindsey’s cousin, Eric Perry, also took to Twitter and wrote how the show was “retraumatizing” as she responded to the viral video that shows Rita’s real court video.
