What is the main plot of ‘Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion’?
Lelouch Lamperouge, a seventeen-year-old boy, is the main protagonist of ‘Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion’. Being the former prince from the superpower ‘Britannia’, he was blessed with “Geass”. Geass is a type of a superpower which was given to Lelouch by a powerful, immortal, and young witch named C.C. Lelouch, being an exceptionally smart and intellectual boy, uses the power of Geass to start a resistance movement called ‘The Black Knights’ in order to destroy and demolish the Holy Britannian Empire.
Naturally, Lelouch becomes the brave leader of this movement but not as himself, but as his alter ego known as Zero. As the storyline of ‘Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion’ progress, the audience can understand how much Zero, or Lelouch, hated the monarchy, which was continuously attacking various other countries under the orders of his own father. The Anime television and web series are scattered with hilarious contrivances. The plot threads are not only nicely planned, but they are also creating a perfect balance between international level geopolitical and military maneuvering with high school level comedy.
The viewers have found themselves comparing ‘Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion’ to ‘Death Note’ because the main characters of both of the Anime series are courageous antagonists and have some sort of a supernatural power to manipulate their enemies and opponents. ‘Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion’ is definitely a fun ride for people who enjoy ‘slice of life’ concepts and believe in going with the flow. The mecha-based fantasy evidently has enough style and mannerisms to create a memorable identity in the Anime world. In all totality, ‘Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion’ has a great narrative, and you should definitely add it to your watchlist!
