Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has officially received its Confrontation Update, marking the conclusion of the game’s Year 2 content roadmap. Released as Patch 14.0, the update introduces significant additions across both PvP and PvE, including two new multiplayer arenas, a powerful Thousand Sons enemy, Heroic weapons and armor, and the final cosmetic DLCs included in Season Pass 2.
Developer Saber Interactive announced the update with the message, “The Confrontation Update is now live for Space Marine 2, bringing Year 2 to an epic conclusion!” Alongside gameplay additions, players can also unlock new weekly rewards by participating in Eternal War matches and completing Datavault challenges.
The update expands Eternal War with two new PvP maps: Sanctum on Avarax and Facility on Demerium. PvP players can also earn new exclusive accolades and cosmetics through weekly rewards and Ordeals.
On the PvE side, Patch 14.0 introduces the Thousand Sons Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer, a new Terminus enemy that can appear in every Chaos Operation and throughout Siege mode. The update also includes new Heroic weapons and armor pieces to further expand player customization.
Season Pass 2 concludes with two cosmetic packs: the Salamanders Champion Pack 2, featuring a Heavy Champion skin and an exclusive Multi-Melta weapon skin, and the Raptors Cosmetic Pack, which adds five armor pieces inspired by the Chapter’s renowned combat doctrine.
