Voltron Season 7 came out earlier this year, but that doesn’t stop Season 8 from airing in the same year. As you may know, Voltron finished 6 Seasons’ in the course of a mere three years. And now that the show is heading to New York Comic-Con, we’ll get a sneak peek into what’s in store for us. The makers will look back on Season 7 and will offer insights into Season 8.

Voltron Season 8 Release Date

Voltron Season 8: News Updates

Voltron Season 7 had a total of 13 Episodes. Season 8 will have 13 episodes too, since 78 episodes were commissioned for the whole Voltron saga and we are only left with the remaining 13 episodes. And this is where as a regular watcher of the show I feel that Season 8 will be the culmination point of what Season 1-7 started. All of the plots will come to an end and the general outline of various stories will start making complete sense. The creative team behind Voltron has something awesome up their sleeve for Season 8. We do not have a trailer out yet but I am guessing it will be revealed at the NYCC.

Voltron Season 8: Cast

For Season 8 the main cast is expected to be back. They include:

Josh Keaton as Takashi “Shiro” Shirogane, Steven Yeun as Keith
Jeremy Shada as Lance
Bex Taylor- Klaus as Katie “Pidge Gunderson” Holt

Voltron Season 8: Spoilers

As you may know, Season 7 changed the status quo of Voltron. The Paladins (pilots) are now back on Earth, the family reunion is done, and now they have amassed a strong force of aliens against the Galra. The Galra is doing down in Season 8! Season 8 must reveal the identity of Altean, who this person is and what is his purpose, especially where the other Alteans are.

Next, Hunk leaving the team. Hunk is thinking of passing the yellow line to someone else. He isn’t less desirous of being a Paladin but at the same time wants someone else to take up the mantle. There’s going to be a plot about Haggar and what she’s been up to all this time. She’s the most mysterious character of whole Voltron. Season 8 will also deal with what Haggar is trying to do with the Quintessence.
