Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her has officially completed its musical lineup. Just days after the romantic comedy premiered on Japanese television on July 6, the anime’s official X account released the non-credit version of its ending sequence, featuring “Tilt” by voice actress duo harmoe. The ending video offers fans a closer look at the series’ vibrant visuals while showcasing the song that closes each episode.

A Childhood Friends Romance Finds Its Perfect Ending Theme

Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her, based on the light novel series by Yu Hibari and illustrated by Siso, follows Hayato Kirishima as he leaves his rural hometown to attend high school in the city. There, he reunites with his childhood friend, Haruki Nikaido, whom he has not seen in seven years. Their long-awaited reunion takes an unexpected turn after Hayato realizes Haruki has changed dramatically since they last met.

The series revolves around friendship, nostalgia, and the emotions that come with reconnecting after years apart. As Hayato and Haruki navigate their renewed relationship, old memories and unspoken feelings begin to shape their present, creating a romance that blends comedy with heartfelt moments.

Each episode now closes with “Tilt,” performed by duo harmoe, made up of Haruki Iwata and Moeka Koizumi. The anime’s official YouTube channel recently released the non-credit ending video, allowing fans to enjoy the animation sequence without on-screen credits while highlighting the song’s emotional tone.

The Creative Team Behind the Anime

Animation production is handled by Project No.9, with Chuanfeng Xu directing the series. Deko Akao, known for her work on Komi Can’t Communicate, is in charge of the series composition, while N-Nei Kurahashi adapts Siso’s original character designs for animation.

The soundtrack is composed by Ryosuke Nakanishi, Naoki Tani, and Yuri Morita, combining emotional melodies with lighthearted tracks that complement the anime’s romantic comedy atmosphere. Their music helps balance the series’ comedic moments with its more emotional scenes.

Pony Canyon is producing the anime’s music.  The anime features “Natsu ni Kasanete” (“Adding to Summer”) by Dialogue+ as its opening theme, while harmoe’s “Tilt” serves as the ending theme. Together, the two songs create a musical identity that reflects both the cheerful and emotional sides of the story.

The anime premiered in Japan on July 6, 2026, airing on TV Tokyo before expanding to Sun TV and BS Fuji. It is also available through several Japanese streaming platforms, including d Anime Store, ABEMA, and U-NEXT.

International viewers can watch the series on Crunchyroll, which is simulcasting Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her as part of its Summer 2026 anime lineup. New episodes are released weekly in supported regions outside Japan and China.
