He is popular for the voice of Dale Gribble in King of the Hill, the animated American television show. He worked as the show’s story editor, staff writer, and producer. He was nominated three times for Prime-Time Emmy Award nominations and won an Emmy for producing King of the Hill in 1999.
He studied at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and graduated with a BA in journalism. After completing his studies, he worked as a bartender in live blues bars in Dallas and Austin, including Sixth Street Live, Nick’s Uptown, and The Greenville Bar & Grill for a decade.
