Kingdom Hearts 4 is once again generating excitement following its recent return to the spotlight, and fans are already debating which Disney properties could appear in Sora’s next adventure. While Coco is currently the only Disney world officially confirmed for the game, Phineas and Ferb has emerged as an unexpected possibility after comments from Vincent Martella, the voice of Phineas.

During an interview with The Movie Dweeb, Martella was asked about the possibility of Phineas and Ferb receiving representation in Kingdom Hearts 4. The actor said he would “love” to see the Disney series included in the game.

Vincent Martella Has an Idea for a Phineas and Ferb World

Martella did more than simply express interest in seeing the characters appear. He suggested that Phineas and Ferb could fit naturally into the Kingdom Hearts formula because of their ability to invent elaborate machines and gadgets.

The pair could potentially create equipment to assist Sora during his journey or help him reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Martella compared the idea to the role that Chip and Dale have played in the franchise, although Phineas and Ferb could take that concept much further through their constant stream of inventions.

The most surprising part of his suggestion is that Phineas could potentially wield a Keyblade during the adventure. While that would raise plenty of questions about the character’s place in Kingdom Hearts lore, the franchise has previously allowed Disney characters outside of Sora’s core group to interact with the iconic weapon.

Could Phineas and Ferb Actually Fit Kingdom Hearts 4?

A Phineas and Ferb world would certainly be an unusual addition to Kingdom Hearts 4, particularly because the franchise has historically focused heavily on Disney and Pixar feature films.

The animated series could nevertheless work well with the game’s established formula. Danville already provides a setting filled with exaggerated inventions, secret projects, and characters capable of creating increasingly absurd technology. That could give Square Enix plenty of opportunities for a world built around exploration and inventive gameplay.

Phineas and Ferb could also provide a different type of Disney crossover than the darker worlds usually associated with Kingdom Hearts. Instead of simply helping Sora fight the Heartless, the characters could construct machines, gadgets, or weapons that change how players explore their environment.

There is currently no indication from Square Enix or Disney that Phineas and Ferb will appear in Kingdom Hearts 4. The only confirmed Disney world so far is Coco, while recent footage has also fueled speculation about other properties potentially joining the game.

For now, Martella’s comments remain a fun suggestion from the actor himself rather than confirmation of a new world. Still, with Kingdom Hearts 4 once again revealing more about its ambitious Disney crossover, fans have plenty of room to imagine what other unexpected franchises could join Sora’s journey.
