Hira’s devotion to him and her affection for him is known to Kiyoi. Nonetheless, Hira constantly acts hesitant and shy with him. Kiyoi tries to kiss Hira when he notices he is dozing off the table while waiting for him. However, Hira becomes frightened by this and begs pardon for nodding off in front of him. They were beginning to have some free time when Koyama called Hira about the club.
They both bother Kiyoi because of their past. Hira interacting with Koyama at club events makes Kiyoi envious. Throughout their talk, Koyama refers to Kiyoi as a leech on Hira. They are doing everything by themselves. The duo stays at Hira’s home and does everything from cooking to cleaning. Hira is surprised when Kiyoi accepts the offer to cook for him.
Hira appreciated the meal despite being horrible, as it was the first dinner Kiyoi had ever prepared for him. Kiyoi encourages him to enter the contest. He thinks he can win this entry. He urges him to hone his abilities and prepare to enter the workforce as a professional.
