UniteUp! Episode 3 – Recap
UniteUp! Episode 3 saw Akira watching an anime that he has watched repeatedly and when an advertisement for the LEGIT comes on the television, his sister asks him to get Daiki’s autograph since they are in the same agency. After reaching the agency, Akira also learns that Daiki goes to the same school as he does but the latter tells him not to speak with him in the school.
Akira, Chihiro, and Naoe start to prepare for what kind of idol they want to be but cannot stop as they hear bickering from the next room in which Daiki and Eishiro are having a debate. The squeeze-in hears what is happening and we learn that Daiki and Eishiro are fighting over the dance authority. The latter tells the former about his tantrum and his selfishness.
They end up leaving the agency to cool their minds off and accidentally, they find Eishiro at a restaurant where Naoe does part-time work. Akira, Chihiro, and Naoe learn about Eishiro’s dream to be the president of Japan and he is becoming an idol to gain more followers.
After this, Eishiro finds Daiki at his usual practicing spot and the former agrees to go with the latter’s flow for dance in the upcoming event while he will have the rest of the authority because he realizes that if he cannot even understand one people’s selfishness then he could never become a president and talk about millions of people.
The LEGIT’s live performance begins and Akira, Chihiro, and Naoe go to watch it as a learning step. Akira is mesmerized by Daiki’s presence on the stage and he finally asks for his autograph. Daiki hesitates to give his autograph at first but eventually gives one and Akira says that he will hang it in his room.
