This animated series sends us to London in the Industrial Revolution era, a moment where the steampunk aesthetic, sudden wealth increases, and the poverty divide grow rampant. There, a group of spirit heroes, namely Melinda the sorceress, Edred the elf warrior, Tseng the Cosmic Monk, and others, go from the spirit realm to the real world, except they are incarnated as human teenagers who can’t handle their supernatural powers, leading to some interesting situations and plot schemes that will surely be the center of the series’ attention.
As part of the backstory, we know that the spirit heroes are very afraid of becoming incarnate because they won’t be as powerful or able to challenge and fight the evil forces that will threaten the world.
