In her statement, Yui expressed feeling honored and overjoyed that her voice will usher in the next chapter of the supernatural action series:

She went on to describe the high-energy collaboration with songwriter DECO*27 to create the passionate track:
“DECO*27 brought his signature style to the table while I gave it my all on this demanding song. The end result is incredibly dynamic, matching the intensity of the show itself. DECO*27’s Sonic Alchemy
Renowned composer DECO*27, responsible for writing and composing the rousing opening theme song “Love Call,” also shared a statement about his contribution to the upcoming second season of the supernatural action anime Undead Unluck.
He mentioned reading through the original manga material to help spark creative ideas for the passionate, rock-driven track:
“After checking out the Undead Unluck source material, I tried to channel the vibe into a high-energy musical backdrop. I’m especially proud of some of the lyrics I came up with for the chorus – ‘Resist denial’ and ‘Mix together all alone’ specifically. I feel they reflect the spirit of the unpredictable story and characters really well.”
DECO*27 went on to praise the vocal performance that brings his composition to life:
“On top of that, Shui delivers with her powerful singing. It takes the song to another level. I get fired up every time I hear her break loose in the vocals – it’s going to make a strong impact opening each episode. I’m genuinely looking forward to hearing it kick off this next thrilling season!”
Between the fiery rock music and commanding vocals, “Love Call” promises to start each weekly episode off with a fitting bang when the new cour premieres.
