The movie focuses on the story of two orphan brothers, Sam and Nathan. Due to their habitual offenses, they get kicked out of their orphanage. Sam and Nathan then part ways, with Sam making a promise to return to his brother. Then the movie takes a leap of fifteen years.
Nathan and Sullivan cross paths with each other. Sullivan is a treasure hunter who reveals to Nathan that Sam was with him for a long time, but he has disappeared now. Sullivan and Nathan want to locate him. Both decide to get a precious golden cross that belongs to the Magellan crew. While trying to do so, they get into a fight with Santiago Moncanda and Jo Braddock, the baddies of the movie.
They are now heading to Barcelona to find the treasure. The clues to reaching the treasure lie in the diary of Elcano. Nathan, Sully, and Chloe (Sully’s acquaintance) try to decipher the clues and reach a secret crypt. They get into some trouble but manage to get out of it successfully and get the map depicting the treasure’s location—the Philippines.
Now we see a shocking betrayal as Braddock kills Moncada to lead the whole operation. Some dramatic fights occur, and finally, the heroes land in the Philippines to get the treasure. Nathan is not convinced that Chloe is loyal to him, so he doesn’t reveal any details about the treasure’s location, which he finds out through his brother Sam’s postcards.
In the final scenes, Sully and Nathan unite to defeat Braddock. They manage to kill her. Nathan and Sully can get a meager amount of treasure. Sam, who’s rotting in prison, writes another postcard to Nathan.
