Uncanny Counter: Story Till Now
Uncanny Counter season 2 has launched as a banger for all the fans that were left curious by the end of season 1, and the story to date has kept the suspense factor intact. To date, we have witnessed how the demon inside Woo Shik is gradually taking over the sanity of the host.
He also has a face-off with So Moon, where both So Moon overpowers the demon easily but is interrupted by the police officers and loses track of Woo Shik.
Although Ha Na from the bureau gets the idea of the whereabouts and intentions of Woo Shik, who is to take revenge on Su Ryung by killing him in the hospital, he is admitted, which is why everyone from the bureau leaves for the hospital immediately.
At the hospital, Su Ryung is found completely fine with no sign of any dark spirit. On the other hand, police officers, along with Kang Han, visit Woo Shik’s mother to let them know if her son visits her and he does later is then soon surrounded by police officers. Where he does have a showdown with them and hurts them but doesn’t kill and goes away.
Ha Na also gives her best to stop him, but he doesn’t stop. Around the night, Geely visits Woo Shik, who tries to influence him to kill Su Ryung, but he shuns her. Investigating more on Woo Shik’s escape, Mo Tak and the police can’t find CCTV evidence.
On the other hand, on the surgery day of Woo Shik’s mom, the counters suspect Woo Shik of visiting the hospital, which is why they keep an eye out and they do trace a bad spirit around, but it turns out that Gelly and Pil have visited the hospital to kill Woo Shik’s mother who is ultimately saved by Mae ok.
Mo Tak finds out a lead on Woo Shik’s escape where it is found that a bad spirit helped him in it, where So Moon suspects it to Pil. Mo Tak’s investigation soon leads to Chung Shin and a money laundering case where a tattoo parlor related to Chung Shin is found, and a person with the tattoo 37 is suspected to be a big entity in the case.
For this, Ha Na and Mae Ok visit the parlor, and Ha Na soon finds the number 37 man and reads his memories which disclose that the boy caught (Jae Cheol) has some connection with Chung Jae.
This triggers Mae ok’s flashback where she helped Jae Cheol heal a serious wound and find her superpower.
By the cliffhanger of the story, we witness how Gelly and Pil have finally reached Su Ryung and are on the ultimate verge of convincing Woo Shik to kill Su Ryung and enhance the power of the dark entity possessing him. Woo Shik kills Su Ryung and gains power while severely injuring Ha Na and So Moon.
