Uryuu is an orphan who wants to become a doctor when he grows up. To meet that dream, he has to attend Kyoto university. One day he gets notified that he will be taken in by a shrine and live there rent-free! Gullible as he was and with no place to belong, he went there without giving it much thought.
When he got there, he kept running into maidens(three of them) at the imperfect time, which led to a big misunderstanding. After some back and forth, he learns that the place is also their home. But that was just the beginning of the troubles coming his way.
As he tried to study more, the troubles and disturbances kept piling up. In the end, he had to give up some of this time from studying to focus on the shrine with them. When the four started to try and live together, they started to form chemistry, and the three maidens soon learned the reason why he wanted to become a doctor. And then, the bomb is dropped on the shrine’s head, where he declares Uryuu must marry one of them and take over the shrine.
