Irina had already spent ten days training under Lev, who noticed that she was afraid of height. She had been succeeding in everything, but this training was giving her a hard time. Irina had worries about when they do it for real and wondered if she would crash at full speed. Lev boosted her confidence since he wanted her to do it. They returned to their room when the sun was about to rise. The higher-ups had a secret cabinet meeting talking about experiment subject N44. They believe that N44 is strong and healthy, and it is believed that she can handle the flight.
Irina is known as N44, but Lev decided to call her by her real name. The Comrade Chief also admits that N44 is ready, and there is no doubt in her abilities. They decided to put her in the final test soon. During the meeting, one of the geezers had his say of testing the side effects of arriving on the moon. They also talked about execution and that when N44 has done her part, they will dispose of her. The Chief is worried that they are delaying the process.

We also saw Gergiev’s Ade Press Secretary Lyudmila Kharlova meeting with the Chief after the meeting. The two talked about the prison camp and realized that it was man’s first spaceflight. Karlova came up with a plan to outsmart everyone since the Chief is worried about their rivals. She talked about N44, the vampire Irina Luminesk as their secret ingredients. Irina is sleeping, waiting for another training at night. On the other side, Lev met with other soldiers who asked him if he was off duty. Lev replies no, but they tease him that he keeps on watching a monster every day.
They wonder how the experiment subject is doing. But Lev surprises them when he compliments Irina and reveals about her training. One of the ladies felt threatened that Iran might take the spotlight and reminds Lev not to praise her too much since she was just an experiment so they could make it to space. They also remind Lev that he is just a trainer and not a candidate meaning that he might not get a chance to go to the space. The boys mock Lev and remind him that he was to a candidate who got demoted. They already have Mikhail and Roza as the pilot, and they can’t have a third pilot.
Lev decided to keep his cool since he is one against all. Mikhail tries to console Lev, but he is faking it. He also talked about how they don’t like N44, and Lev wonders why they have to treat her like that since she has feelings like them. But no one has ever gone to space in history, so they are thankful that the vampire girl will make that happen. They left Lev, who wonders about the candidate matter. Meanwhile, Irina is working in the training exam room.
