Cale’s plot to cure Ron, drive the secret organization away and help the whales fight the mermaids is all tied up and came to light in the last chapter. As we have already seen, Cale has a knack for creating elaborate plans that cover all the bases with minimum risk. He showed off his intelligence again now that he has Ron’s life at stake.

Recap
In the previous chapter of Trash of the Count’s Family, Whitira commands one of her men to go and guide the boat that Cale brought to the island. She explains that it is a magical boat so they just need to guide it to the island, but the guy was embarrassed by the task. Funnily enough, Whitira manages to convince him anyway.
Cale, and his dragon ride on a whale’s back to go back and forth and it was cute when the dragon says that the whale’s back is slippery. Finally, he reaches Haise Island 1 and wonders that it might be okay to destroy one of the island since there are so many of them here anyway.
He asks if Choi Han remembered the mage during the celebration in Capital and tells him that he is the only one who has seen Ron’s face so they need to eliminate him to be safe. Choi Han promptly agrees to Cale’s suggestion and Cale notices that even though he is kind, he has no problems killing people.
Cale expects Vicross to be upset about it later but the risk had to be eliminated. Just as Cale is about to explain things further, a huge humpback whale jumps out of the water covered in blood and wounds. The black dragon tells Cale that he doesn’t want to do something like that and he doesn’t want Cale to do it either.
He then asks Cale when he needs to make more magic bombs from the mana stones. It seems like Cale plans on causing explosions on the island to drive the secret organization out by giving them a taste of their medicine. He named this operation ‘Reflection’ because of that as well.
