Based on the popular light novel, Trapped in A Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough For Mobs anime adaptation will soon premiere. The anime has been long-awaited by harem anime fans as well as fans of the original work. It revolves around Leon Fou Bartfort, a reincarnated human in the world of an Otome Game. However, the story is far from being generic, and definitely, one anyone would enjoy watching.
Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs anime adaptation is based on the light novel series by the same name written by Yomu Mishima and illustrated by Monda. The novel was published by Micro Magazine and released under the GC Novels imprint. It was launched in 2018 and has since been ongoing. So far, the novel series has 9 published volumes. A manga adaptation illustrated by Jun Shiosato was serialized in Niconico Seiga initially and then in the Monthly Dragon Age.

Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs Release Date
In November 2021, the light novel series announced the production of its anime adaptation. It was later revealed that the Trapped in a Dating Sim anime would be released in April 2022.

The first key visual was updated by the franchise on 26 January 2022. The anime will be produced by Studio ENGI under the direction of Kazuya Miura and Shin’ichi Fukumoto. Kenta Ihara is compiling the scripts while Masahiko Suzuki drafts the characters.
Plot
When Leon Fou Bartfort, an office worker, dies, he gets reincarnated in the Holtfort Kingdom. Recognizing the place from the game he used to play after being forced by his sister, Leon paves his way away from being a mob character. He summons Luxion, a cheat item, and makes necessary changes within him to live a normal yet good life. He admits into Holtfort Academy and, in doing so, ends up changing the plot little by little.
