The British crime drama series, Top Boy will arrive with the last season this week. The series ran for twelve years. The first two seasons aired on Channel 4, and the remaining two on Netflix. Thus, Sully and DuShane will appear for the last time in the Summerhouse estate.
We saw Sully and Dushane rule the world of drugs and spread violence across the streets. They built an empire in the first four seasons and must deal with the results of their deeds in the fifth one. So, it will be about a love/hate relationship between Dushane and Sully.
Netflix does not count the first two seasons of Top Boy released on Channel 4. Thus, it marks Top Boy Season 5 as Season 3. Coming back to the original names, the fourth season was filmed under COVID-19 restrictions. Thankfully, this is not the case with the fifth season.

Top Boy Season 4 Recap
Jamie spends six months in jail after getting framed for weapon possession. He gets released only when he accepts to work for Dushane. Emilio, a well-known Spanish drug dealer, decides to retire from the criminal world.
A corrupt police officer seizes the drugs for himself that are supposed to get shipped from Morocco to London through Spain. When Dushane does not receive drugs as decided, he asks Sully to find a problem in the supply chain, but Sully declines.
So, Jamie goes instead of Sully and secretly makes a drug deal with the corrupt police officer. After getting saved from the kidnappers by Jaq and Dushane, Sully goes to Spain and kills Juan. It is how he finally gets the custody of the drugs.
Kit, Jamie’s friend, accidentally kills Ats, and Jamie kills Kit to stand up to Dushane’s expectations. Dushane’s mother dies of illness after asking him to get his Summerhouse community. A twist comes when Sully betrays Dushane.
Sully shockingly kills Jamie to stop him from taking over, and Dushane decides to retire at the end of Top Boy Season 4. No character can be trusted in Top Boy. Dushane and Sully are at the heart of the series, but new characters entered every season and authentically established their storylines.
Top Boy Season 5 Preview
Top Boy Season 5 will reveal the aftermath of Jamie’s murder done by Sully and Dushane’s retirement plan getting rejected. Meanwhile, we are excited to learn whether there will be only one top boy or if the two will adjust to each other and go with the flow.
The empire built by the drug mafias will have threats from the exterior and internal rivals. The fifth season is announced as the final one for two reasons. First, the series must end someday. Second, the cast wants to end it the right way. It is how Netflix wants to stay true to its original goal.
Jac, Becks, Tadgh, and Johnny will be the new characters in the upcoming season. According to the trailer, Sully becomes a dad and takes his daughter to school, and Stefan rests on Jamie’s bench. As Sully killed Jamie in the previous season, Stef, Jamie’s younger brother, Stef, will take revenge on Sully in the upcoming season.
We will discover what the long-time leads do to protect their loved ones. Stef entered the series as a young actor and will turn into an adult performer through his romance with Erin and revengeful activities.
Johnny and Tadgh will have limited screen time. Moreover, Sully and Dushane have always faced external rivals. We would like to watch them facing internal rivals this time.
