There are many different types of main characters, and one of the fascinating aspects of these characters is that they display a wide range of emotions. These feelings are the primary motivator for characters to achieve their full potential. Eren Yeager is one of these characters. He was furious after witnessing his mother being devoured by a titan. What made him the top loving character of all time and what he became as the story build-up was his anger of emotion. There are, however, anime with emotionless main characters who do not display any emotions. And if you’re wondering who these characters are and what anime they’re from, look no further. We shall help you with it, for today’s post is about the Top ten anime with the emotionless main character.
It’s arguably the strangest, funniest, and most fascinating thing you’ll witness in an anime to have main characters that are emotionless. This sort of anime should have its own genre title. When watching this style of anime, you’ll constantly wonder how these characters can grow. It will make you dizzy as you ponder that question. But it is what makes the anime so fantastic. It will pique your interest and make you intrigued. You never know what will occur. And, of course, there are some compelling, sad, and, dare I say, humorous stories for the main characters in these anime to be emotionless. So without further ado, let’s look at the Top ten anime with the emotionless main character.
10. Kino No Tabi (Traveling Guide)
An adventure tale of a 15 year old girl who loves nothing but traveling. Nothing comes to the mind of Kino but travel. If she is depressed, it is because she is not traveling and seeing the beauty that the world has to offer. At first look, she may appear to be a cute adolescent. She will, however, murder anybody who gets in her way with her handguns, which she has called “Cannon” and “Woodsman.” She traverses the world with her closest buddy Hermes and a sentinent motorcycle, deciding not to spend more than three days in any one spot. The plot follows the character development of the two main protagonists as they travel over the world.
9. Code Breaker (One Who Does Not Exist)
An emotionless main character that murders victims with very hot blue flames, adding a distinctive touch to the animation. Sakura Sakurakouji is a high school student with martial arts expertise and a sort of justice. One day while riding the bus, she saw a boy standing atop a burning body with blue flames. In the middle of attempting to figure out the following few days, she discovers nothing except the lad Rei Oogami, who is a student in her class. He appears to be a gentle and charming guy at first, but after further research, she realizes that he is a Code Breaker, or “one who does not exist.” She is determined to steer Rei in the right direction before anybody else is harmed.
8. Classroom Of The Elite (An Emotionless Main Character That Will Use Companions As Pawns)
The main character of this anime is a brilliant, crafty, and calculative student who utilizes his intelligence to remain unnoticeable in the eyes of the Koudo Ikusei Senior High School. Students at this institution are graded based on their rank. While the A class receives the greatest treatment, the D class is where all the trash is dumped. Kiyotaka Ayanokouji meets Suzune Horikita, who feels she was placed in the D class by accident. Characters of interest are seen in the D class, and they compete to ascend to the top. Kiyotaka employs his cunning and carefully selects his partners in order to utilize them as players in his schemes.
7. Death Parade (The Emotionless Main Character Will Judge You For Reincarnation Or Eternal Hell)
If you believed there was already a hell or a paradise waiting for you after death, then there is a twist in Quindecim’s reality. What lies ahead is either rebirth or endless abyss, as chosen by an emotionless bartender named Decim. They are judged based on their genuine personalities, which are exposed when the recently departed are challenged to strange games such as bowling, darts, Air Hockey, or anything else. While playing these games with themselves and the arbiter, everyone’s true persona will be revealed. And he will give judgment on the couples, either for reincarnation or for their souls to be lost forever. You will have a good time watching Decime judging people.
6. 91 Days (Cold And Dark Emotionless)
What makes a character emotionless are the events that occur in the character’s life. During the prohibition era, Angelo Lagusa, a 12-year-old boy living in a lawless town, sees the murder of his parents and a younger brother by the Vanetti mafia family. Angelo Lagusa, traumatized by this occurrence, decides to flee the lawless village and alter his identity to Avilio Bruno. A letter received at the age of 19 pushes Avilio to return to the Lawless village and get retribution seven years later, and he befriends Vanetti Don’s son at the first opportunity. The dark plot revolves around a 19-year-old teenager who slowly and methodically exacts revenge for the killings of his loving family.
5. The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K (Overpowered Psychic)
As the anime title implies, the main character possesses a wide range of skills such as telepathy, telekinesis, flight, invisibility, invincibility, time manipulation, clairvoyance, x-ray vision, and teleportation. He has nothing in his life that might surprise him and cause him to lose his cool. While many people see psychic powers as a blessing, Saiki Kusuo sees them as a curse. He wishes for an average life but discovers that it is no simpler than the one he now leads after making two new friends. The anime will depict Saiki’s day-to-day existence as he strives to adjust to life in the real world.
4. Mob Psycho 100 (Overpowered Psychic Part 2)
Speaking of Psychics with overpowered abilities, next on the list is Shigeo Kageyama from Mob Psycho. He is a calm and cool individual who does intervene in the lives of others. However, when it comes to the exorcism of evil spirits, he stands forward to assist people. Aside from that, we occasionally witness him being bashful around the girl he has a crush on. Mob begins working as an intern for Arataka Reigen, a scam artist posing as a psychic who exploits Mob’s abilities for pocket money. However, the talents he employs in his day-to-day exorcism activities are only the tip of the iceberg; when his true capabilities are activated, he transforms into an unrecognizable soulless damaging machine.
3. One Punch-Man (A Satire)
Speaking about overpowering characters, who is more powerful than a man who can beat his opponent with a single punch? Another spoof of One’s work is this anime. Saitama pursues his aim of being a hero by training for three years in a row. He loses all of his hair in the process and gains so much power that he can slay monsters and villains with a single blow. Because of his abilities, he is no longer able to enjoy the excitement of combat and has grown rather bored. He joins the hero agency with his sidekick Genos and strives to be the best S level hero. Thus begins the narrative of an unusual guy who longs to battle powerful foes in the hopes of rekindling the enthusiasm he previously had and, maybe, becoming popular in the process.
2. Vinland Saga (On The Path To Revenge, You Will Be Emotionless)
Another anime similar to 91 Days, but set in the Viking age, it revolves around Thorfinn Son of Thors. He was a cheerful country boy who regularly accompanied his father, Thors, a famous warrior and ex-Viking. Thorfinn’s grin changes when Askeladd ambushes them and murders his father in front of him. As a result of witnessing his father’s death, Thorfinn is traumatized and makes it his life’s aim to assassinate the guy who murdered his father. Askeladd keeps Thorfinn around and teaches him the ways of the Vikings. He argues that if you want to murder him, you must first learn how to do so.
In the tale, he becomes an emotionless main character with a single goal: to murder Askeladd. During his six-year journey, he transforms into a cold-blooded human who would kill anybody who is in his way. Thorfinn, on the other hand, is more heartless than ever following Askeladd’s untimely death. What will he do if he has no purpose? I won’t give any further spoilers because the new season is in the works at the Mappa studios.
1. Violet Evergarden (Understanding The Meaning Of I Love You)
Violet Evergarden, my favorite character, is at the top of the list. Major Gilbert Bougainvillea’s last words to Violet in the final military fight are “I Love You.” Violet, on the other hand, has no idea what these phrases signify, and Gilbert Bougainvillea dies when she asks him.
Violet Evergarden, a war kid who has spent her whole life using only a weapon, understands nothing about human emotions. She begins working as an auto memory doll at the CH postal corporation after the war ends. She soon grows fond of her profession, and she makes it her life’s mission to decipher the significance of Gilbert Bougainvillea dying final words and human emotions. As the plot develops, the anime will make you weep.
