The episode starts with Tomo playing the game of kings with Carol and Misaki. When Misaki is chosen as the king, she makes the wish for Tomo to attend the Fireworks festival with Jun alone. Tomo gets flustered but she accepts it as that is the rule. Tomo then asks Jun to attend the festival with him and he agrees without any hesitation which surprises Tomo as he has never done that.
Meanwhile, Jun is still trying to figure out the “real meaning” behind Tomo’s proposal and he can’t believe that she would ever love him. The day finally comes and Jun gets dressed to attend the Festival, he waits for Tomo and gets shocked to see her in a Kimono as she looks really beautiful and he has never seen her like that.
Tomo and Jun then visit the festival and all the shop owners also get shocked to see Tomo in such attire. But they soon realise she’s still the same from inside. At the festival, a few thugs try to approach Tomo thinking she’s single but Jun wraps his arm around her and takes her away. Tomo tries to propose to him again but decides not to.
The next day, Tomo mentions that she’s frustrated to see Jun treating her like an actual girl and he tries to distance himself from her because of it. After school ends, Misaki gets kidnapped by a bunch of thugs who want to take revenge on Tomo through her. Carol tries to help her but ends up getting caught up too. They run and hide in an abandoned factory.
Misaki calls and tells Jun about her situation and he arrives at the scene. Tomo follows Jun and they beat up the thugs. Tomo gets embarrassed as she acted less girly and more like a wild raccoon but to her surprise, Jun starts treating her normally again which makes her extremely happy.
