Tomo-Chan Is A Girl! Episode 5 Recap
Tomo-Chan Is A Girl! Episode 5 was divided into three parts. The first saw Carol inviting Tomo and Misuzu to her house. Tomo and Misuzu arrive at the location provided by Carol to find out that she lives in a big mansion. But before even meeting Carol, they are greeted by Carol’s mother, who mistakes Tomo for a boy as everyone does, and she is as clumsy as Carol.
Realizing how rich Carol is, Misuzu and Tomo roam around the big mansion while constantly greeted by Carol’s mother. We also see that Carol’s mother is suspicious of Misuzu, and to tease, the latter says she became friends with Carol for her money, but it makes Carol’s mother find her cute.
Meanwhile, Tomo and Carol play Othello, where the latter beats the former in 5 minutes and beats Misuzu in 10 minutes. After that, Tomo and Misuzu leave.
The second part of the episode saw the girls doing a group study at Misuzu’s house because the midterms are at the next day. While studying, it is revealed that Carol is very good at studying too. The results of the midterms are out, and Carol secures 1st place while Misuzu secures second place, and Tomo is 70th rank which makes her happy.
In the last part of the episode, Jun invites Tomo to play games all night at his house, to which the latter excitedly says yes but later realizes that she is going to spend a night with him, and Misuzu and Carol tease her about it as well. She tells her parent, hoping to be concerned about her spending a night with a boy, but they do not mind.
After playing games, Tomo closes up to see Jun’s face while he is sleeping, but the latter chokes her in his sleep, and they fall asleep on the futon together.
