Netflix has revealed that its upcoming anime series, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, will premiere on October 10. Starring Hayley Atwell, known for her role as Marvel’s Agent Carter, the series has already generated significant excitement among fans with a teaser trailer produced by Legendary Television.
Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is a highly anticipated American animated action-adventure series inspired by the iconic Tomb Raider video games.
The story continues from the reboot trilogy that began in 2013, following the events of the 2018 game Shadow of the Tomb Raider. With Tasha Huo as showrunner, the series is set to carry on the thrilling adventures of the legendary archaeologist.
The anime series picks up where the Tomb Raider video game Survivor trilogy left off, following Lara Croft as she heads on dangerous solo missions to uncover ancient mysteries and lost truths.

The voice cast includes Allen Maldonado as Zip and Earl Baylon, reprising his role as Jonah Maiava from the video game. The series is executive produced and written by Tasha Huo, known for her work on The Witcher: Blood Origin.
Other executive producers include Dmitri M. Johnson, Timothy I. Stevenson, Jacob Robinson under Tractor Pants, Dallas Dickinson, Noah Hughes from Crystal Dynamics, and Howard Bliss and Jen Chambers.
