What Are the ‘Venom’ Movies About?
The “Venom” movies focus on Eddie Brock, played by Hardy. He is a photojournalist who merges with an alien symbiote called Venom. This gives him amazing powers. In the first movie, Eddie investigates a bad organization called the Life Foundation.
He becomes Venom and must learn to work with Venom to defeat Carlton Drake, who is a danger to the world. The sequel, “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” shows Eddie and Venom growing closer as they face Cletus Kasady, a serial killer who becomes Carnage and goes on a rampage.
These films mix action, dark comedy, and science fiction. They show themes like identity and redemption through Eddie and Venom’s funny but complicated relationship.
“The Last Dance” comes after the success of the previous movies. “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” made $502 million in 2021, while the first “Venom” earned $856 million in 2018. Kelly Marcel wrote the scripts for both previous films and is also the writer for this third movie, which is her first time directing.
“Venom: The Last Dance” hits theaters on October 25. Stay tuned to Otakukart for more updates.
