The final season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan is making its way to the small screens this week, and today we bring you everything you should know ahead of the premiere of this successful spy thriller series. As usual, John Krasinski will reprise his role as agent Jack Ryan, a special ops operator working for the American Central Intelligence Agency.
And as we’re used to by now, Ryan will embark on a worldwide journey to put some bad guys to a halt. We’ve seen Ryan work all over the world across three past seasons, in places like Venezuela and Russia as well as many conflict areas, but this season the action takes place in South East Asia, where Jack Ryan must face one of the toughest challenges ever because he’ll be on his own this time.
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Season 4 Preview
When a strike team kills the president of a Southeast Asian nation, Jack Ryan is called upon by the US Congress to testify. The CIA wants to find out who did it, and they dispatch Ryan to see what went down. The CIA points out a man named Domingo Chavez who’s involved in some sort of black bag operation.
Jack Ryan finds out that there’s a criminal organization that deals in arms, drugs, and human trafficking operating out of southeast Asia, and now Ryan must go there and find out who they are and what they’re doing and put a stop to them.
Jack Ryan must travel around the world, team up with his old friend Mike November and collaborate with a limited-resource Greer to get to the bottom of it all; all the while, the agency is trying to keep things on a closed lid.
