Tokyo Ghoul Season 4 is close to its premiere, and in this post, we’ll be discussing the events of the first episode of Tokyo Ghoul Season 4. The season has already been screened at a few places, so you may be able to watch it at some unofficial sites. Anyway, if you haven’t watched it yet, I’m here to inform you all about Tokyo Ghoul Season 4’s plot.
If you haven’t watched this year’s Tokyo Ghoul Season 3, you shouldn’t continue, because I will spoil you. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started. The show has already begun as a disaster. For those of you who don’t know, they plan on finishing the entire Tokyo Ghoul series within just 12 episodes. That gives Studio Pierrot 120+ chapters that need to be adapted, giving us over ten chapters per episode.
To put that into perspective, earlier this year, we got Tokyo Ghoul re Season 1, and that was incredibly fast-paced. It skipped a lot of the content from the manga, and the fans were distraught because of that very reason. The bizarre thing is that Re Season 1 adapted just six chapters per episode. If the fans didn’t like an adaptation where a six chapters to one episode ratio, I’m pretty sure everyone is going to flip out when they watch the upcoming season.
Tokyo Ghoul Season 4 Episode 1 Spoilers
Anyway, coming back to Tokyo Ghoul Season 4 Episode 1, we’ll likely be skipping a lot of content. According to the spoilers, Takatsuki Sen will be revealed to be the leader of the Aogiri to the world. She was the One-Eyed Owl, and she’ll reveal her true intentions of creating peace and harmony among humans and ghouls.
I was excited for Tokyo Ghoul Season 4, but I not even sure if I’ll be following it anymore. I hope at least the major fight scenes are adapted well, but even if they are, Tokyo Ghoul is much more than just fights. Tokyo Ghoul Season 4 premieres on October 9, 2018.
