2.5 Dimensional Seduction, adapted from Yu Hashimoto’s romantic comedy manga, is gearing up for its debut. The story centers on Masamune Okumura, a high school manga club president and self-proclaimed otaku obsessed with the fictional character Liliel.
When Lilysa Amano, a first-year student and cosplay enthusiast, joins the club, Okumura becomes her photographer, discovering she shares his passion for Liliel. Okumura finds himself torn between fantasy and reality as their relationship develops amidst the club’s growth.
Ahead of its July 5, 2024, premiere in Japan and simultaneous streaming on HIDIVE in the United States, the anime released a charming new key visual and trailer featuring the opening theme song “Shutter Chance” by Meychan.
Directed by Hideki Okamoto at J.C. STAFF, with series composition by Takao Yoshioka, character designs by Tomoyuki Shitaya, and music by Hiroaki Tsutsumi, “2.5 Dimensional Seduction” promises to charm viewers with its blend of comedy, romance, and otaku culture.
