We will see Yu Sung take a dark path as he spreads a plague to the enemy continent just to thin their numbers. However, what he has done can’t be called anything but a war crime by modern standards. And it won’t be a stretch to say Yu Sung will be going through a villain arc into Hell With Being A Saint, I’m A Doctor Chapter 72.
Despite being a doctor of great prestige, Yu Sung has done some shady things. However, this isn’t a surprising thing for a shounen manhwa, as all the protagonists have done serious things. However, going into each of them and what they did wrong by modern standards would be one long list.
Yu Sung was supposed to be the healer archetype compared to his counterparts, who all wanted to be kings. Though, he will now be doing something much worse than any of the protagonists have done. However, this is still a magic series, and no one said that a protagonist from this series could go down the same route as the others.

To Hell With Being A Saint, I’m A Doctor Chapter 71 starts with secret members holding a meeting. Cheong Yong was the main focus among those, for the most part, as it was she who noticed the changing situation of the high priest. These people had assembled to take care of those who are related to the church and are its beneficiaries.
After talking about what was going on in the world (and giving the readers some exposition), they started their mission. Some people had started moving in shadows and were after the high priest residing near the church. The priest was tired from the day’s work and just wanted to punch in for the day, but she didn’t get to fulfill her wish.
These people were assassins belonging to an unknown side, and that side wanted the high priest dead. The high priest didn’t know what to do in the situation, so he tried to downplay the tension by being sarcastic. The assassins, on their part, didn’t care to give their name to him and said he was dead anyway.

To Hell With Being A Saint, I’m A Doctor Chapter 72 will have everyone’s favorite doctor go down a dark path. Though, he will be enjoying the most of it as he is indifferent to all the deaths happening. This is quite an interesting character development, but it could be a few chapter things and forgotten later.
It could also be done in a way that shows what Yu Sung was doing was just and was with good intent. Though, given how severe the ramifications of his actions could be, it isn’t likely that the story won’t hold him accountable. If anything, he might come out of it hurt and possibly take it back. We should see Yu Sung deal with Necromancer sooner rather than later after his latest experiment.
