Synopsis

The backdrop for Throne of Seals is around 5590 years ago when humanity was on the verge of extinction owing to an invasion by 70 demonic gods looking to wreak havoc on Earth. Hao Chen put a lot of effort into passing the test for a very long period.

With the support of his family and a resolute approach toward his goals, he was finally able to do as he had planned. A Holy Resurrection Ritual is conducted under Long Xing Yu’s direction following his victory. The ceremony showed that Hao Chen possessed special divine abilities that allowed him to conquer demons and do things that others could not.

Now that everyone is aware of our main character’s extraordinary abilities, they have faith in him to stop the demon gods from destroying what’s left of humanity. Hao Chen must work hard to hone his fighting skills in order to protect his people from the demon gods and preserve the stability of the nation where he was raised.

In order to help Haochen and his teammates to sharpen their skills and actively work on improving their battle strengths before fighting the demon gods, Gao Yingjie, their leader on the battlefield, will be guiding them for the next three months.

For their first impromptu test, Yingjie tells them to at least touch him ten times so they can earn merit points. If they fail to get close to him, the demon hunter team will immediately disband. With this challenge, he aims to teach them the ways of the battlefield and how to prepare for such sudden attacks.

The episode ends with Haochen’s team and Gao Yingjie finally getting past the warm-up stage, ready to engage in a full-on battled and learned more things on the way.
