With the story set around the ex-thugs at the Hugs Not Thugs center, this series explores a specific group of people in Los Angeles, and it has put a comedic spin on the cholo group and their culture, dressing style, and lifestyle.
Season two is back with Luis and Julio still trying to find out how to live life right. Julio has been fired from his job at Hug Not Thugs and is forced to continue his pathetic life, now with his new roommate and elder brother, Luis. The two get closer not just with each other but also with Julio’s ex-boss, Minister Payne, and the trio they form is hilarious to witness.
We will see Luis adjust to his new work life as a guard at the tuxedo store while Julio will enjoy his time off with a new friend, a chicken, or a rooster. But a job as a security guard and a life with no work at thirty years of age can only bring so much satisfaction to this lost bunch.
So, fed up with their mundane life, the two brothers, along with Minister Payne, will open up a coffee shop called Mugs Not Thugs, and we will get to witness all of the fun that the trio will have trying to make it work as cafe owners.
