Jaehwan will be making his way towards the end of the metabus to meet a new character in The World After the Fall Chapter 144. He is finally able to get closer to his friend but the hindrance on the way has increased tenfold. However, his efforts had garnered him followers that are willing to fight for his cause to the very end.
We saw Jaehwan talking to the dwarf and probing him for information on what to expect ahead. The dwarf was terrified, not of Jaehwan but of what he was about to do in the future. The actions he will take would mean the end of his life if he were to go forward with no thought of his safety.

He had overcome many trials and tribulations just so he could free his friend. The next stop in his destination was Catastrophe which lay ahead waiting for him with his friend ahead, possibly.
We also got to learn about the higher beings that are disturbed by Jaehwan’s actions in the metabus. They fear that he will strike them and kick them out of their authority, forcing them to band together and stop him in his tracks. The dwarf tells Jaehwan to not go ahead as he is now, but to train for a few years; Jaehwan softly says he looks forward to meeting the old dwarf again shortly.
