“The Witch and the Beast” is a Japanese manga series about vengeance and magic that debuted in November 2016 in Young Magazine the Third and was later picked up by Monthly Young Magazine in December.
The two major protagonists in the story are Guideau, a wild girl with long fangs and vicious eyes, and Ashaf, a kind guy with delicate features who carries a mysterious coffin on his back.
The two went to see it; a witch had taken over the village and made the people idols of heroes. Ashaf and Guideau are willing to kill anyone who gets in their way once the scores are settled since they can see through the lies.
The manga was collected into 10 volumes by August 2022, each of which expanded on the Guideau and Ashaf plot. A mix of mystery, terror, and suspense draws readers into this character-driven story.
The news of an anime adaption was made in August of 2022. The Yokohama Animation Laboratory produced the animation, while Takayuki Hamana supervised the television program. Apart from Momose, the character designs were made by Hiroya Iijima and Hanae Nakamura, while Natsumi Tabuchi was in charge of the music. During our interview, they promised us that their sound design and concept would be just as amazing.
Ashaf and Guideau are confronted by the fictitious bravery of the witch in a magical world. Upon their arrival, the show explores the complex ties between evil forces and justice, going far beyond traditional fantasy.
Its anime adaptation promises to take viewers to a world of mystery, retaliation, and coalitions, eliminating the distinctions between good and evil in a fantasy tale that will grip viewers from start to finish. The manga pages turn, and the animated series takes off into a world of mystery and morality testing.
