The much loved Thai Series, The Warp Effect, finally released its episode finale this week on 27th February 2023. Ever since the show ended, fans have not been able to move past it and have grown attached to the characters and the entertaining plot this show provided.
Premiering its first episode on December 12, 2022, The Warp Effect ended with 12 episodes, and fans have expressed their desire for Episode 13 of the show. We have got all the information you need regarding episode 13 or the next season.
What is The Warp Effect about?
When Alex, our main protagonist, violates the promise he made to his mother not to lose his virginity before turning eighteen, chaos ensues that he could never have imagined in his wildest dreams!
It’s the year 2011, seventeen-year-old Alex lacks self-confidence, and photography is his one and only love in life since nothing living seems to be interesting to him. His mother passed away in an accident, which led to his home turning into an all-male space.
Before she passed away, Alex’s mom made him promise to keep his virginity till the right time came. Being the only one in his friend group to still hold on to his virgin lifestyle as his closest friends See-ew and Nim have already given up theirs, it’s almost intolerable to him to be so virtuous. Unable to control his frustration, Alex intends to go wild at Jedi’s house party.
When school activist Jean, our female lead, attends the party, it appears that his perfect shot at losing his virginity is finally near. Yet when the evening devolves into mayhem, Alex awakens with no memory of what had happened.
He had grown into a man of twenty-seven who was an expert in the one thing he was dying to experience- sex and was also a gynecologist. Using a Polaroid, he found as the sole hint from that night, and he must unravel the mystery of that evening and all the chaos that ensued.
Cast of The Warp Effect
New Thitipoom Techa apaikhun
Playing the role of Alex in this Thai Series, New Thitipoom Techa Apaikhun is an actor born in Bangkok, Thailand, who made his debut just less than a decade ago in a show titled ‘Room Alone: The Series (2014). He plays the role of a comedic and aloof character who tries to find his way out of this sticky situation that’s led him to grow ten years older!
Aside from his acting career, New has also modeled as well as emcee for a couple of shows and is popular among the locals for his anchoring.
He doesn’t just stop there! New Also has his own clothing line called ‘Newwave’ and co-owns a spa named ‘Bamboo Secrets.’ This 30-year-old actor signed under GMM TV is best known for his roles in Kiss: The Series (2016) and Kiss Me Again (2018).
This 24-year-old actress plays the role of Jean, the school activist in The Warp Effect. Fah Yongwaree Anilbol is not just an actress but is now also a pilot who graduated from the Faculty of Science Department of Commercial Pilot, Aviation Institute in Washington DC- becoming one of only two women who were successful in passing the examination.
She also has her own jewelry line called ‘Forever Pumpkim’ and is currently in a relationship with a pilot named William. Fah started her acting career at the age of as young as thirteen and has since been considered to be an expert in her field. She’s best known for her roles in ‘F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers (2021), ‘P.S. I Hate You (2022) and ‘Good Old Days’ (2022).
The Warp Effect Episode 13 Release Date or Next Season?
The season ended with episode 12 of The Warp Effect. The series will, however continue with The Warp Effect Season 2 Episode 1; now the question is will there be a second season of the show? Highly likely because of the grand success of the The Warp Effect.
