The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 10 Recap
The episode begins with a sad note as So Mun is still in Coma, and Ju Seok is worried for him. He thinks about all the good memories the two shared and how special their bond has been. He has a confrontation with Gwang, who says he is least interested in his revenge, but he ends up attacking Ju Seok to get a hold of his powers.
He is about to kill him when So Mun gains consciousness, which activates the territory around Su Jeok, and he is able to absorb powers from it. Gwang is brutally defeated by Ju Seok, who then leaves the place, which makes the former question why only Ju Seok has such powers and not him.
The evil spirits inside Ju Seok are now aware of the powers he has. In the following scenes, Wi-Gen returns, which brings the light of happiness to the counters. Even So Mun is back, and everyone starts showering him with love. They offer him food and suggest he not take the burden as all of them are in this together.
While talking to So Mun about all that happened, it is revealed that Ju Seok went to meet his grandmother and confessed the truth, but she is reluctant to believe it. So Mun goes to meet her the next day.
Meanwhile, Mo Tak uses Lee Chung Jae to get to his target, Ju Seok. His plan works as Ju Seok is headed toward Min Ji’s memorial with Chung Jae, but his mother is already present there.
When she notices that her son is inflicting self-damage and trying to harm himself, he stops her. Chung Jae escapes, and the evil spirit inside Ju Seok takes full control, forcing him to attack his mother. So Mun arrives to save her, but when territory is activated, the evil spirit absorbs more power. But Ju Seok’s conscience helps him control the spirit, and he escapes.
When So Mun takes care of Ju Seok’s mother, she expresses how miserable he has been after Min Ji’s demise. So Mun finds out that Gwang is the mastermind behind the scam. Counters try to hide this reality from Ju Seok, but Gwang appears on TV confessing his sins and killing Min Ji, which infuriates Ju Seok.
He finally kills Gwang but cannot take over his spirit. Instead, Pil Gwang is able to kill the evil spirit inside Ju Seok and take over his body.
