The Tale of the Outcasts Episode 7 Review
Two more of the 13 Calamities are introduced in this episode. The greater demon’s great joy is war. While one feels at home with the largely indifferent attitude that Marbas and Neberious share towards the larger world, the other brings a new flare to the show’s disposition. He seems to be very enthusiastic about human war and has plans to see another take place soon.
This foreboding start is followed by an entertaining tour of the country for the stars in Episode 7. The Marbas and Naberious, on the other hand, spend the majority of their time pointlessly bickering with each other, although Wisteria and Diana appear to be having fun. They continue to do a terrible job with their shtick, as their yelling doesn’t seem to serve a purpose.
The sequence does have something constructive about Marbas amid all the yelling and pestering. Diana sits by Wisteria’s side as the group explores the lake, explaining to her friend the scenes and world as she shows her around. Marbas’ disappointment is natural given his obligations. After seeing him at his full power, the show informs the viewer that even though he has his full power, he still has his flaws and emotions. There are some good moments between him and his contractor in this phase, so hopefully, no schisms arise.
This episode of The Story of Outcasts concentrates on the main characters, but it also spends a lot of time with Snow. Wisteria’s brother doesn’t seem to be doing well. Snow has been suspended from his work after his superiors learned he knew of Wisteria’s pact with Marbas. Even though it is upsetting for Snow, he is still able to keep in touch with old friends during his time off.
Along with being a critical moment in the plot, this look at Snow is a crucial moment for the character. In addition to seeing what Snow has accomplished in his life, we get a peek at how he relaxes when he is just relaxing. For a character with such a strong role in the story, this is a great way to flesh out his or her personality. This episode is an excellent introduction to a new threat facing our protagonist. It manages setup, action, and character exploration in equal measures. This allows each to feel significant and unhurried.
