There was just one of the side characters fooling his way around for most of the chapter. Some thought that was the story’s way to fill in the pages and bid it’s time till the final shock comes.
Because the last chapter was all about the shock value and suddenly changing the flow of the story from goofy to serious. The jester-type character fooled around until he was beckoned to come up and check on the emperor. He was sure that it would turn into failure, but he couldn’t deny the request since he was getting glare for it.
He sprayed the guards unconscious and hopped onto the balcony, trying for the balcony’s door. It should have been closed, but to his surprise, there was no lock, and the black panther decided to make his way through that. However, this is where the shock came as the little rabbit was lying lifeless alongside the emperor in blood.

Rabbit’s friends will be looking into who was the one who tried to murder her. The story didn’t give any indication as to who that might be in the last chapter, but it will be the obvious character. Perhaps the one with the evil mustache and a Cheshire cat grin who will be absent all of a sudden. Or something close to that, we will also see how the royal court reacts to the news of assault.
