The Stars And I Chapter 136 is going to be the latest addition to the Comedy-Romance Manhua. The story follows the life of two people whose lives have been intertwined since they were five years old.
They met each other for the first time when Si-Nan and his mom moved into the house next door to Mu Zi-Xing and her family. Si Nan was not like your typical five-year-old. He was very mature for his age and a tad bit anti-social, but Zi-Xing didn’t mind.
It is revealed that Si Nan lost his father when he was younger, and his mother refused to marry someone else. She wanted to raise Si Nan all alone and to make things easier for his mother, he set aside his feelings.
He became an exceptional child who always excelled in school. When Si Nan first met Zi-Xing, he criticized her for being a child. Zi-Xing paid no mind to it, and soon they became good friends. And as time went by, their friendship blossomed into something else.
At moment, they have been dating for about six months, and Zi-Xing wants to move in with Si Nan. Si Nan is in university, while Zi-Xing is working for an editorial company. We are introduced to Ziyu, who is Zi-Xing’s older brother.
He has always been a little overprotective of his little sister. And is currently very strict on Zi-Xing now that she has started dating. And in the previous chapter, we finally get a reason for his overprotectiveness.

Zi-Xing decides to stay with Si Nan over the winter vacation, and Ziyu is not happy with it. Zi-Xing calls her parents to try and get him to back off but is unable to. When Si Nan and Zi-Xing came back from their date, Ziyu was in the hallways waiting for them.
Ziyu notices the bag Si Nan is trying to hide and tries to grab it. Si Nan skillfully throws it to Zi-Xing, who quickly goes unlocks the door, heads inside, and closes it behind her back.
Realizing that he has been defeated, Ziyu asks Si Nan to come with him. They head outside to have a one-on-one chat. Ziyu tells him about an incident that happened in the past. An incident that he has never told anyone before.
When he was young, he brought a couple of friends to his place to play video games. Zi-Xing was in the room and was fast asleep. Ziyu told his friends not to wake up his sister while he went to the kitchen to grab something to drink.
In his absence, Ziyu’s friends tried to take advantage of Zi-Xing, but Ziyu was able to stop them. Since that day, he has always prevented Zi-Xing from getting close to other guys.
He felt extremely guilty as he felt that he failed in his duty as an older brother. Ziyu just wanted Si Nan to take care of his little sister and that he already considers him his family as he has seen him grow up. They seem to have come to an understanding, and they head back up.

Zi-Xing was just about ready to call an ambulance as she knew how his brother could be. To say she was surprised after seeing Ziyu and Si Nan get along would be an understatement. She was more surprised when Ziyu hugged her out of the blue and even more surprised when Si Nan started hugging her too.
In the next chapter, we will likely see Zi-Xing and Si Nan work out the kinks of living together as a couple. Issues are bound to arise one way or another. It will be interesting to see how they will handle it.
