Shiryuki visits “Home of the poor Freiyu. Freiyu and the children at her home are delighted to see her again. The kids hug Shiryuki to express their excitement, to which Freiyu mention that they love her and that because she has been away for so long, they miss her dearly.
Shiryuki hands over some money to Freiyu, but she insists that she doesn’t want money which requires Shiryuki to put her life on the line, which is being an adventurer. Shiryuki responds by saying that she wants to do good deeds to get redemption for her past sins.
At a different location in the city, Miyazaki, another reincarnate, is angry at his subordinates for not collecting enough money from the people. He calls them a loser and forces them to lick the ground. He then asks those subordinates to recall who he is. They shower Miyazaki with praises, but he calls all of them wrong.
Miyazaki states that he is a king of the underworld. He was betrayed by one of his subordinates in the past life, but his cheat skill and hostility detection skills as a reincarnate would make sure that doesn’t happen again. It is thanks to his cheating skill that he has fooled many people and stolen their money.
Infuriated by Miyazaki’s words, one of his men tries to attack him, but Miyazaki murders him brutally so that no one ever dares to do that again. He then orders his men to go back and collect more money. But they reply by saying that they can’t collect money from Freiyu because she’s a saint.
