The Secret Romantic Guesthouse Episode 7: The Story
The story starts with Yoon Dan Oh, who runs a guesthouse named Ihwawon which means Flower Garden. Her father’s old house has shifted into a guesthouse, and she is working hard to attract guests. Currently, there live two scholars Yook Yook Ho and Jung Yoo Ha. Yook Yook Ho is a student who has spent the last ten years attempting to pass the civil service exam. Jung Yoo Ha is a perfect example of a Flower scholar. He is from a noble family and is an intellectual man.
Dan Ho meets two new men, Kim Shi Yeol and Kan San. Kim Shi Yeol is a joyful unconcerned guy. He has unsettled debt and hides from the debt collectors. While roaming in the market, he saves Dan Ho from a middle-aged man who is trying to marry Dan Ho multiple times. Kan San is a young and talented warrior who carries a wooden sword along with him. He has mysterious vibes and a cold personality.
Kan San believes Dan Ho is a con artist, but he decides to stay in her guesthouse because it is curfew time, and he has nowhere else to stay. Kim Shi Yeol asked Dan Ho to shelter him for the night, but he had no money to pay her.
Meanwhile, in the palace, the queen is pregnant and almost to her due date, but she is anxious about giving birth to a boy. She is fully prepared with a backup plan if the baby is a girl. As King is desperate for an heir, she doesn’t want to disappoint him. Another issue is worrying the King. According to the current King, Lee Seol, the son of the deposed Crown Prince, will return to the throne. Tae Hwa is searching for him everywhere he can.
The Secret Romantic Guesthouse Episode 7: Recap
There are only five days left to clear her debt and save Ihwawon. Tae Hwa summons Dan Ho and tries to make a deal with her. If she helps him catch the Watchman and he will overlook her debt. Bong Joo, Dan Ho’s older sister, resides in a spooky old house. She is living in hiding like a prisoner. Shi Yeol knows this, and he visits her sometimes.
Dan Ho gets to the truth about Kim Shi Yeol as Lee Seol and the plan of Tae Hwa. On hearing Lee Seol is in trouble, San rushes to help him, but he fails to do much for his injury. Dan Ho comes to help him, and he teaches her how to shoot arrows.
Dan Ho breaks the deal with Tae Haw and sacrifices her guesthouse to save San. She relocates her elder sister and maid to a temple. Tae Hwa is furious and points his sword at Dan Ho’s neck. San appears in the Watchman’s attire and saves her.
