Whether it be the chilling night winds, the moonlight that is barely peeking through the clouds, or Raon’s senses as a life-long assassin, they all whisper the same things in his ears. They say that Raon will die to Lord Derus Robert tonight.
The way House Robert utilizes the assassination group ‘Shadow’ is by kidnapping or buying young children and turning them into ‘assassins’ who will dedicate their entire lives to doing House Robert’s dirty work. In other words, raising faithful ‘dogs’ for the house.
Raon was also indoctrinated, but thanks to a special encounter during one of his missions, he was able to break free of the awful chains that bound him. Lord Derus Robert found out about this due to a bug that had been implanted into Raon’s body.
It is called the Rage Worm, and it obeys Lord Derus Robert’s order by eating Raon’s heart. It was the worst kind of sorcery that could even read a slave’s emotions. Raon was kidnapped at an age where he could barely even remember anything. He was then raised as a hound and assassin of House Robert.
Even when Raon became the head of Shadows, he lived on without any heart or emotions. But by a lucky happenstance, he ended up learning a cultivation technique called the Ring Of Fire.
And the technique, as if proving that it was the special ability of the strongest swordsman in the continent from long ago, allowed Raon to break free from the indoctrination.
Raon thought he could finally escape from the Shadows and dream about freedom. But all that waited for him at the end was death and not freedom. What sin had Raon committed? Why does he have to die such a meaningless death?

We saw that the swordsmen of the 2nd training hall were definitely strong in The Reincarnated Assassin Is A Genius Swordsman Chapter 27. They lived up to the Zeighardt name, and they definitely were comparable to the kingdom’s knights in skill.
However, the 6th training hall’s trainees were rather disappointing. They were well-trained, but they were lacking compared to the Robert family’s trainees. But one thing you must know is that this training hall was where the really talented trainees were. Limer had suggested everyone to visit the 5th training hall for this reason.
It surely was a rare opportunity to be able to duel against one of the six emperors’ knights for training. The plan was to have twenty duels and reward the winner. They were all given elite training in Orwen, but Limer also had great faith in her trainees.
Everyone thought of Limer to be more soft in her swordsmanship, but after her past experiences, she had increased speed and power. It was pretty amusing for everyone. The official matches then began, and the competition was really fierce.
