Bravo is airing the eighth season of the American reality television series The Real Housewives of Potomac. It was mostly filmed in Potomac, Maryland, and debuted on November 5, 2023. Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Lorraine Haughton-Lawson, Nora Devin, Eric Fuller, and Andy Cohen are its executive producers.
Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Wendy Osefo, Mia Thornton, and Nneka Ihim are the main characters of the season; Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and Keiana Stewart make cameo appearances as the housewives’ friends.
The eighth season of the show, which will feature Nneka Ihim as the newest housewife and the return of all seven of the seventh season’s housewives, was set to debut on November 5, 2023, according to an announcement made in September 2023.
As pals of the housewives, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, a former housewife, and Keiana Stewart, a recent cast member, will make appearances. Following season 7 of The Real Women of New York City and season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Ihim’s arrival makes The Real Housewives of Potomac.
Spoilers
The title of the episode is “Heaven Is a Place in Potomac.” In the episode, the tension builds as Ashley’s welcome party progresses and Robyn reveals Juan’s response to her intervention. As Grace leaves for college, Gizelle gets ready for the tearful farewell. Amid these life-changing events, Wendy plans a heartfelt first communion brunch for her two sons.
But when Nneka makes unsettling accusations about Wendy’s family, the happy occasion takes an unexpected turn, casting a shadow on the family get-together. The guests are left torn between celebrating and piecing together secrets as the party turns into a platform for disclosures and conflicts.
Recap
Nneka Ihim is the only new cast member this time around. She recently relocated to Potomac with her spouse, Dr. Ikenna “Iyke” Ihim, and is an American-Nigerian lawyer. In addition to being a doctor, her spouse owns a nightclub.
She works in financial technology. She spends her day drinking champagne, taking prenatal vitamins, and being mean. She wondered why Wendy introduced herself to Dr. Nneka and asked Ashley, “Is she a medical doctor?”
Mia brought up a rumor from the previous season that said Karen had gotten close to an unidentified man in a bar’s lavatory and that the man felt deceived by the former. Mia went to go to Karen to patch things up between them.
The two resolved to put a stop to their disagreement after speaking, but Karen made it plain that she wanted to maintain a certain amount of distance between them. Although she was fine with her being friendly, it did not mean that Mia had regained her confidence.
Even while this wasn’t a perfect solution to their problem, given that this was the beginning of their previously icy relationship, it did assist in some way.
Candiace disclosed that she is committed to her musical career and that she paid six figures to fund her tour. She hopes to turn her investment into a profit by landing a record deal with a label. The episode included talks on the opening acts, the places and dates of tours, and other things.
However, Candiace did not think the idea was particularly good. Indeed, she winced at the idea and clarified, saying, “I don’t think I need to do anything more musically with her. Drew or anyone else famous doesn’t need to bring butts to seats for me.” There is a problem between the two.
