The story of the K-drama revolves around a young and successful teacher Yeon Doo who wishes to attain greater heights in her career. Her personal life is beautiful with her partner Jun Ha. Soon her bubble is burst as her boyfriend is cheating on her, and she is pregnant with his child.
On the other hand, is OBGYN Tae Kyung, a man who runs away from marriage. When he meets Yeon Doo, he finds the perfect escape by faking a marriage with her, and it is equally beneficial for her as she gets to keep the real father of her unborn child a secret. The episode begins with Tae Kyung getting a call from the Missing Person Family Support Center. They are able to match the DNA of Tae Kyung’s grandmother Eun Geum to a lady whose nickname was Strawberry.
Tae Kyung takes Grandma aside to break the news to her. He tells her that the missing person family support center was able to locate her missing daughter, but she passed away 20 years ago.
The news devastates her, and she wants to be left alone while she bursts out in tears. Tae Kyung lies to everyone that the conversation was about Kim Jun Ha’s encounter. Dong Wook is out with his colleagues when he gets a call from Yu Myung.
He asks her if Soo Kyum ever talks about her mother, and Yu Myung guesses that Dong Wook met her recently and has been hiding that she is alive, but Dong Wook lies, saying there is nothing as such. Jun Ha calls Yeon Doo to know is Ha Neul is sick because of him.
He wants more chances to babysit her and also says he is the registered parent, so he will not give up on his daughter. His child custody application drops like a bomb on the family members. Chairman starts his investigation when he gets to know about Jang Se Jin’s alliance with Jun Ha.
Yeon Doo meets her mother, and she learns that she is dropping out of classes as Mr. Jang is Se Jin’s father. Yeon Doo meets Mr. Jang, who tells her that Se Jin did not save her from the accident and also that Jun Ha was her ex. Chairman Gong calls for Se Jin, Jun Ha, Yeon Doo, Tae Kyung, Chung Myun, and Ms. Gong for a meeting. He questions Jun Ha and Se Jin for their lies. Jun Ha’s behavior makes him lose his temper, and he slaps him.
Jun Ha is determined to win custody. Meanwhile, Tae Kyung gets a call that Strawberry’s daughter wants to meet Grandma Eun. It turns out to be a nun who warmly greets her grandmother. Dong Wook gets to know that Chairman Gong is the father of his girlfriend, Chung Myun. On the other hand, it is revealed that Strawberry’s daughter is Kim Jun Ha’s sister.
