The One Piece Cafe has made its grand debut, marking a significant milestone as one of North America’s first official anime-themed restaurants.
Situated in Las Vegas, this new establishment is exclusively dedicated to the beloved Straw Hat Pirates. Toei Animation recently released a video showcasing the cafe’s menu and the enthusiastic anime community that contributed to its successful launch.
Andy Nguyen, the brain behind the One Piece Cafe, talks about his collaboration with Toei Animation in bringing this concept to life. Andy shared insights into the collaborative process, saying, “We submitted everything—restaurant design, food, and drinks—to Toei for approval.
Sometimes we had to make adjustments, but we believe we’ve perfected it. Opening a One Piece Cafe is daunting given the series’ immense popularity.”
Located at 5600 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, the One Piece Cafe is open seven days a week for fans in the area. The cafe not only boasts a decor adorned with images from the anime series but also offers a menu that pays homage to the Straw Hat Pirates, featuring iconic dishes like the “Meat Bone” and “Devil Fruit.”
The response from Straw Hat fans has been overwhelming, with many eager to experience the cafe firsthand. This new establishment promises to be a haven for anime enthusiasts looking to immerse themselves in One Piece through food, drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere.
