In the previous chapter of The Newbie is Too Strong, Kim Jaeju wakes up with a start yelling about the Taruha when he realizes that he was lying in bed. Jaeju gets anxious thinking about the outcome of the battle and the fact that he could barely remember what had happened.

The Poipois coddled Jaeju with their usual cuteness and Jaeju felt a little better, thinking that the Taruha must have been defeated if he was in his room now. Jaeju also remembers the vast amount of mana that had been in his body during the battle but there was no mana left now other than the usual amount he had.

Jaeju also realizes that his body feels much more athletic and lighter in comparison. Suddenly, the door bursts open and Palahan comes in with some food.
