In the previous chapter of The Max Level Hero has Returned!, Davey is pretty happy considering the treasure that Pallas Kingdom had sent with the Princess. Apparently, the material was explosive stone which had very high amount of power to the point its mining and production was restricted in Pallas.
The author goes on to explain that Pallas Kingdom was pretty solid because it had high understanding of weaponry and had state of the art weapons at their disposal. The material Davey got his hands on had immense power that was the same even if a younger person or an older person was wielding it.
Apparently, Ruan had never seen such a crowd coming and going out of it. The festival was supposed to be for four days and Amy had been working herself to the bone for it. Davey recognizes her efforts and plans on meeting up with her later.
The Chamberlain happily goes to see the festival and Amy also tells Davey to go with her. Davey somehow got the idea to wear a mask to conceal his identity and they looked like they had a lot of fun with the festival. When they go to meet the dwarf though, he was able to look right past Davey’s poor disguise.
The dwarf tells them that one of the clans had sent a beautiful and extravagant gold tribute for Davey for some reason. Amy is pretty impressed by it as well and wonders if she can get one for the Crown Prince. Everything is going fine but some mysterious people in black robes were seen approaching the festival.
