The final stretch of The Masked Singer is well underway as we reach the bottom half of the quarter-finals with only four contestants left and lots of music to be performed, many clues to be given out, and lots of fun in this family-oriented musical reality competition show that’s had nine seasons so far in American network Fox. Every week, we see amazing singing and dancing performances from masked celebrities from all walks of life as the public and panelists try to figure out who they are.
In the last episode, we found out the identity of the UFO in the context of a British Invasion show that served as the prologue for the Brit fever that everyone had ahead of King Charles’s coronation last weekend. And what better way to celebrate British culture than through its amazing performing artists too? With one elimination and three contestants still on the run, the Masked Singer gets better than ever. Who will make it to the semi-finals, and who will be the winner of this season?
The Masked Singer Season 9 Episode 12 Recap
This episode was “British Invasion” night, and it promises to be a wonderful one! The host and panelists entered the stage amidst Union Jacks and dancing soldiers in uniform. We’re down to the top four! California Roll, Macaw, UFO, and the masked singer who made their way back to the game, Medusa.
The show brought us an amazing performance of Elton John’s “Your Song” by Macaw that gave us a hint that tonight’s Brit Invasion-themed show was one to remember. After a few rounds of clues, interviews, and funny remarks, we moved on to California Roll, who mixed things up a bit and turned up the volume because it was Radiohead’s rock anthem “Creep” from the 1990s that rocked the stage out loud.

UFO’s Identity Revealed
After another round of clues and the usual jokes by panelists and hosts, it was Medusa’s turn to rock the stage with a performance of “Tears Dry On Their Own” by the late Amy Winehouse; sadly for UFO, she was outed, and we discovered that the identity belongs to American actress and former Miss America 2012 Olivia Culpo.
After we found out the identity of the UFO, it was the turn for Medusa to come back and perform. We saw another round of clues also! But when it came to Medusa, she performed the number 1 hit song “Someone Like You” by Adele. After this, it’s only three people left in this Masked Singer season, and the competition and talent will be fierce!
The Masked Singer Season 9 Episode 13 Spoilers
Picking up on the clues that the last episode gave us, we have that the next episode will consist of a 3v3 battle with one more elimination ahead of the great season finale. The contestants of this season have 28 Emmy nominations, are also involved in the music business, as there are six Grammy awards out there, and are also involved in either movies or tv shows because there are four Golden Globe Awards nominees out there. Who could they be? They sure are famous because the clues also let us know that four of them have their own Hollywood Walk of Fame Star. But with clues those vague, we need a good private investigator to find out!
