The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 Episode 9 release date is quite close. The series throws light on a period drama series which also has a comedy element to it as well. Amazon Prime Video has commissioned the same for their platform. Right now, after four successful seasons, we are here at the 5th one, which is also about to end. The fact that this will be the last season is kind of disappointing fans a bit, but obviously, a satisfying end to Midge’s story is what we all want to see.

Back in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 Episode 8, titled The Princess and the Plea. The entry starts with Joel and Midge as they take a dive into their history together. They have had good moments and bad ones, too, and this is what makes their bond so special. They were attending the netting with the teachers of their kids while doing so. It turns out that Abe is facing some issues at the institution. He is trying to get Esther enrolled here, too, and is testing her intelligence constantly.

Elsewhere, we see that Dinah is really working on the apology from James. She also criticizes her for the time that she said it wasn’t his turn to shine on the Jack Paar show. She then tries to get him booked for the show again. Through her point of view, we see that even if Midge is not able to break through it, it does not mean that James is privileged.

Later in the episode, Midge goes to a college reunion with some of her friends from her past. While they are hanging out and reminiscing about the old times, the group finds some of the old stuff. There were some messages that they left for their future selves in the past. Midge’s message did not make any sense as it was just “Don’t.” Even though her friends try to talk her out of it, she is convinced to find out what that message means.

Then at The Gordon Show, we see the host really happy. He announces that Princess Margaret has agreed to join them in the episode. It was all Hedy’s doing, as she has some inside connections that helped her with the whole arrangement. Well, it was obvious that Midge would be on the screen with the Princess because she knew the most about the royal family.

Things went really well with the interview, and everyone was impressed. As the show was ending, Midge was about to give credit to the men who were not even involved in the process in any way. This is when Hedy stops her and tells her, “Don’t,” which sparks something in Midge.

Back at the dinner, Abe is not feeling happy because of how he has failed. He talks about how disappointed he is in the world. His friends mistake the notion by thinking about how the world is changing for men of their age. Although, Abe’s concern is about how the world is not changing at all and everyone is the same.
