The upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for Nintendo Switch 2 will offer multiple display modes and customizable controls, giving players greater control over their gameplay experience. New footage shared by Zelda content creator Zeltik reveals several settings available in the remake.

THREE DISPLAY MODES OFFER DIFFERENT HUD OPTIONS

The remake features three display presets: Standard, Pro, and Master. Standard provides the usual on-screen information, while Pro reduces the amount of displayed information for a cleaner interface. Master removes all on-screen information, offering a more immersive experience for players who prefer an unobstructed view.

The settings also include two targeting options. Hold requires players to keep ZL pressed to maintain targeting, while Toggle lets them activate targeting with one press and deactivate it with another.

Additional settings let players enable or disable motion-control aiming and subtitles. These options provide flexibility for players who prefer traditional controls or want to adjust how information appears during gameplay.

The remake will also introduce new features beyond its display settings, including the Hall of Fallen Foes and the newly revealed “fairy thoughts.” Nintendo has confirmed that the game features overhauled visuals, expanded dialogue, voiced cutscenes, orchestral music, and improved camera and movement controls.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026.
